Dill Dinkers, a rapidly growing indoor pickleball brand with plans to expand to over 250 locations nationwide, has announced a strategic partnership with the University of Denver’s Liniger Center on Franchising, part of the Daniels College of Business. This collaboration is designed to strengthen the foundation of its franchise network by integrating comprehensive franchise education into the onboarding process for all new franchise support employees and franchisees.

As part of this partnership, Dill Dinkers’ new franchisees and support staff will enroll in the Liniger Center’s “Introduction to Franchising” course — a 10-hour, asynchronous online program that delivers a robust understanding of the franchise business model. The course covers essential topics such as the history and terminology of franchising, the legal framework of franchise operations, key management principles and practical case studies. These elements are designed to equip participants with the knowledge needed to navigate and succeed in the franchising landscape. Additionally, those who pursue advanced courses through the Liniger Center benefit from corporate tuition discounts, further emphasizing the brand’s commitment to ongoing education.

Will Richards, the co-founder and CEO of Dill Dinkers, emphasized the long-term value of this educational investment.

“The program gives you a really good, fundamental understanding of franchising as a whole, which enables you to help manage your franchisee success better in the long term,” said Richards. “That’s the main reason why we’re sending people through the program. It enables our franchise business consultants and franchisees to have a better understanding of the franchise model, the franchisor-franchisee relationship and how that is supposed to work.”

The Liniger Center, established in 2022 through a generous donation from RE/MAX founders Dave and Gail Liniger, is the first institution of its kind west of the Mississippi River. It provides franchisors and franchisees with valuable resources, guidance and education through a blend of online courses, in-person workshops and networking opportunities. The center’s offerings, including its flagship 10-hour online course and two immersive three-day workshops, are recognized by the International Franchise Association for Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) credits, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in franchise education.

By partnering with the Liniger Center, Dill Dinkers is investing in the success of its franchisees and ultimately, the organization as a whole.
