DINX Social Club, a new luxury indoor pickleball and sports venue, is set to open its first location in Highland Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, this winter.
The 23,000-square-foot space, located at 1931 Skokie Valley Road, will offer an upscale sports and social experience for Chicago’s North Shore community. The club will feature state-of-the-art amenities, including regulation-sized pickleball courts, advanced golf simulators, and social and dining lounges.
With the growing popularity of pickleball and a longstanding golf community in the area, DINX Social Club aims to blend sports and socializing into one destination.
“With DINX Social Club, we’ll create an unparalleled sport and social experience driven by attentive service, innovative technology, and luxe environments,” said David Sloane, the founder of DINX Social Club, in a statement. “In addition to the North Shore’s thriving golf community, pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S. The pickleball community is inclusive, supportive and enthusiastic. We specifically targeted Highland Park because our family has been part of this community for over 40 years, as we feel Highland Park is the perfect spot for our concept. We are eager to help raise the profile of the fastest-growing sport in America across the North Shore and throughout Chicagoland.”
The venue will feature six regulation-sized pickleball courts with TRUE Court cushioned surfaces, recognized as the official surface for both Major League Pickleball (MLP) and the Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP). In addition, the club will house three Trackman iO Golf Simulator lounges, which provide an immersive experience for golf enthusiasts.
Beyond sports, DINX Social Club is designed to cater to those seeking a refined social experience. A multi-tap self-serve pour wall from Pour My Beer will offer a range of craft beers from a local North Shore brewery, as well as wines and specialty cocktails from local purveyors. The club’s dining options will be powered by Hometown Coffee & Juice, ensuring fresh and wholesome food for members and guests.
Other standout features include chic lounges perfect for pre- or post-match socializing, a private “Very Important Player” (VIP) area for events such as parties or karaoke, and premium locker rooms. Members will also have access to a pro shop, where they can purchase and demo high-end gear.
DINX Social Club will offer various membership packages with exclusive perks such as priority access to court reservations, early sign-ups for leagues and clinics, and invitations to special events. While membership is not required, non-members will have limited access to bookings 24 to 48 hours in advance.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Bobowski represented DINX Social Club in the lease transaction, which he described as a complex assignment. “We needed sufficient ceiling heights and column spacing to accommodate pickleball courts and play, as well as space for the food-and-beverage concept, spacious courtside seating, and lounges, a pro shop, and locker rooms, all in a high-traffic site with ample parking and affluent demographics,” he said, in a statement. “We evaluated prospective locations across Chicago’s Northside suburbs and ultimately found the ideal fit in Highland Park.”
