Little Rock Athletic Club (LRAC), a premier fitness club in Little Rock, Arkansas, has opened a state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facility. The facility was specifically created and designed to provide pickleball enthusiasts a dynamic and upscale experience.
This project marks a significant expansion of LRAC’s facilities and offerings.
“At LRAC, we emphasize four main pillars in our business — tennis, swimming, fitness and family — because they are the framework in which our vibrant and robust membership thrives and excels,” said Frank Lawrence, the CEO of LRAC, in a statement. “The introduction of pickleball holds the potential to become a significant fifth pillar — the first in over 40 years. The addition of this first-class facility is a source of great excitement. Not only does it enhance our array of amenities and offerings but, more importantly, fosters the growth of community and relationship which is what we value most.”
The state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facility will feature four outdoor courts and eight indoor climate-controlled courts, ensuring an optimal playing environment year-round.
The facility is complemented by a suite of professional coaching services, a range of amenities including diverse food and beverage selections, and a well-stocked pro shop. The complex will not only be a hub for pickleball but will also serve as a venue for vibrant social gatherings.
Members will also gain exclusive member benefits, including access to LRAC’s expansive fitness options, such as group fitness classes, personal training, basketball, swim, tennis, racquetball, childcare, physical therapy and massage.
