PickleRage, a growing indoor pickleball club operator, is continuing its nationwide expansion with 17 new franchise agreements signed in 2025. The company, which focuses on building high-quality indoor pickleball spaces, has opened new clubs in Glen Burnie, Maryland and Mobile, Alabama, and is planning at least five more openings before year’s end.
Franchise agreements have been signed in several new markets, including Centerville, OH; Portage, MI; New Rochelle, NY; Union County, NJ; and a corporate-owned location in North Charleston, SC. Additional territories are in development across Michigan, North Carolina, Florida, Maryland, Texas, Indiana, New Hampshire, Nevada and New Jersey. By the end of 2025, PickleRage expects to operate in 13 states.
“Demand is soaring from both players and entrepreneurs who see the opportunity to be part of something special,” said David Smith, the COO at PickleRage, in a statement. “Seventeen new markets in six months is just the beginning. We’re building real nationwide momentum, and our franchise partners are helping bring the PickleRage experience to more communities across the country.”
Beyond facility growth, the company is emphasizing community partnerships and local engagement. Recent club-led initiatives include youth programming in Michigan, Special Olympics support in Florida, and fundraising events in Alabama and Maryland.
To support its growth, PickleRage has strengthened its corporate team with new leadership hires in franchise development, marketing and real estate project management.
“As we scale, we’re not just opening more clubs, we’re building a connected, energized network of players, franchisees and fans,” said Smith. “This is about more than growth. It’s about creating a movement that prioritizes play, connection and community.”
